Big Bike Weekend takes place at the Redding Convention Center in the heart of far northern California just two hours north of Sacramento off Interstate 5. The Sacramento River--the State's longest river--runs cold and swift right through the heart of Redding, creating a lush landscape that borders millions of acres of federal and state lands, offering unlimited riding opportunities. A one-hour drive west, north, or east of
Redding will have you riding through Lassen Volcanic National Park, past Burney Falls, in front of magnificent Mt. Shasta, or alongside the pristine Trinity Alps. The region boasts miles of scenic highways and byways, including one of only two All American Roads in California.
