EVENT REGISTRATION - BBQ Rib Cook Off Contest

We're holding our first BBQ Rib Cook Off Contest! Taste some of the best BBQ. Judging will be at Noon and tasting right after. This event will be open to BBQ teams and individuals. A $1,000 split purse goes to the winners! (5th place - $50, 4th place - $100, 3rd place - $200, 2nd place - $250, 1st place - $400)

Entry fee will be $50 and will be open to teams and individuals wishing to compete. we are also opening this event to a few vending teams. Vending teams will need to apply for their permit with the Shasta County Health Dept. There should be no charge for this permit as the event is for charity! Once completed, you will submit this document directly to the Shasta County Department of Resource Management's Environmental Health Division on Placer Street in Redding. You may be able to fax the form since no fee will be required. You may contact the Shasta County Health Department directly at 530-225-5591 if you have any questions about this process. If you wish to be a vending team, please contact Big Bike Weekend. Non-vending competitors do not need to apply for a permit.
